OVERVIEW
The Patterson Family Foundation is excited to announce the continuation of our rural community foundation match program in 2024. This program supported the growth of rural philanthropy across our catchment of rural communities of Kansas and Northwestern Missouri. Our Foundation believes in listening to our communities. This program will again enable the Community Foundation Board to determine the allocation of funding.
In partnership with the Kansas Association of Community Foundations (KACF), the Patterson Family Foundation will once again provide up to $70,000 for any qualifying community foundation to support their match day event(s), where they engage their community to support the efforts of the community foundation and provide sustainability to their rural community. This program’s goal is to increase the number of donors, number of donations, and the average gift to the community foundation during the match event(s).
Eligible community foundations are strongly encouraged to review the information on the website for who is eligible for this program, how to apply, how these funds may be used, and reporting requirements.
You may review the Application Questions and draft your responses to the questions in Word and then copy/paste your responses after you log in to the grant portal.
