SUMMARY:Sweet & Spicy Monterrey Dinner\, Elk Co Match Event
DESCRIPTION:Sweet & Spicy\, located in Howard\, KS\, is hosting a Monterrey Dinner on Saturday\, June 8 from 5 – 8pm in which 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Elk County Community Foundation’s Rural Match Fund. In addition\, the Patterson Family Foundation will match donations received up to $70\,000. \nIn 2023\, ECCF received the opportunity to participate in a similar campaign through PFF and raised $97\,000 with the help and support of Elk County citizens. That event allowed ECCF to distribute $167\,000 to 18 local non-profit organizations. \nPFF has given us a second opportunity; ECCF hopes to exceed last year’s funding and again distribute the money throughout our communities. The 2024 Match Event is currently underway and ends June 10. No donation is too small\, and every donation is appreciated. To donate\, contact Brandi Mast\, Associate Director of ECCF at brandi.mast@centralkansascf.org or go to the website centralkansascf.org/donate. Donations can also be mailed to ECCF PO Box 956 Howard\, KS 67349 or given to any ECCF Board Member. \nPFF is a family-led foundation extending the legacy of Neal and Jeanne Patterson of Anthony\, Kansas.
