SUMMARY:State of the Foundation – Investment Strategies
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the State of the Foundation – Investment Strategies \nDate: January 11\, 2024\nTime: noon to 1 PM via Zoom (link below) \nPurpose: The CKCF Finance and Investment Committee will be sharing preliminary investment performance results for the close of 2023. The Committee has been active in 2023 evaluating and assessing the investment landscape from the financial management perspective. As stewards of donor gifts\, the Finance and Investment Committee along with the full CKCF board\, recognize their role and responsibility for our Investment and Spending Policy. During 2023 a lot of fund and performance analysis was undertaken as a general measure of our financial management responsibilities. The CEO along with the Committee heard from\, shared with\, and connected with other community foundations on their state of investments including investment performance strategies and spending rates for endowments. Our findings have led us to expand our investment strategies beginning in 2024 after we close the year 2023. \nThis Zoom call is the opportunity for a Fund Advisor or other interested parties to learn more about our investment strategies and which funds will move within our overall investment strategy system into new or modified targeted strategies based on the type or classification of the fund\, i.e. project vs endowment.
