SUMMARY:Reception Celebration for Harvey County Women of the Year
DESCRIPTION:Join the Celebration\n \nWe will be recognizing the 2026 Harvey County Women of the Year. \nThe Harvey County Women of the Year program will honor Kendra Davila and Beth Ann Kingsley at a come-and-go reception from 4-6:00 PM on Monday\, April 20\, at the Newton Public Library\, 223 E 7th Street.  A brief presentation will be made at 5:00 PM.\n\nEstablished in 1956\, the Women of the Year program recognizes leaders who dedicate their time\, talents and energy to improving their communities in Harvey County.\n\nAdditionally\, scholarships are awarded each year to 3 full-time senior level female students graduating from high school in Harvey County and planning to enroll in a full-time program at a public or private college/university\, vocational or trade school who demonstrate leadership and community service.  The 2026 scholarship recipients are Ezri Mitchell from Newton High School\, Emma Gudeman from Hesston High School and Tess Williams from Halstead High School.
